The Giambelli String Quartet is a versatile, professional ensemble, that provides sophisticated, elegant, fun music for wedding ceremonies, private parties, cocktail receptions, corporate events, holiday parties, charitable gatherings, church services or any special occasion.
Established in 1998, the Giambelli String Quartet is known for its vast and diverse musical repertoire. The quartet, named after a famous New York City Italian restaurant, is comfortable performing everything from classical favorites and popular music. The GSQ performs together on an average of 40 times each year.
In addition, as musicians outside of the quartet, members play with the Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Ballet Orchestra, the Civic Light Opera Orchestra and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. All performers are active music educators in the Pittsburgh community.

The Giambelli String Quartet is a masterful group of musicians. They are affordable for people on a wedding budget. They were completely flexible and were happy to take special requests for my ceremony. They provided their repetoire list to choose selections for the ceremony but also played special selections that I requested very well. They were definitely an added feature at my ceremony that got a lot of good buzz. 5.0 on Wedding Wire
